PhD Vepsäläinen, Henna


I completed my PhD in nutrition in 2018, and my thesis investigated the association between social and physical food environment and diet among children. I currently work in several projects examining for instance preschoolers’ health behaviors and stress (the DAGIS research), food education and novel methods for dietary assessment methods (the LoCard project). I am interested in the impact of food environment on daily food choices and how the environment can be modified to help us make healthier choices.
