Milk is the first food the mammal feeds on. Man
is a mammal, milk represents his first food, and this, besides having important
effects on health, has profound anthropological and cultural implications. It
is curiously that milk, more than any other food, raises questions,
perplexities, and sometimes fears.
There are many false myths, beliefs and, not always correct, indications regarding the consumption of milk. Recently, an important and reliable scientific journal, "The New England Journal of Medicine", has addressed this subject. In February 2020, the journal published a review of the best scientific evidence on milk consumption in developmental and adult age.
